We’ve all heard the game “Follow the Leader”…one person leads a line of followers behind them who all do exactly as the “leader’ at the front of the line does.  If the Leader raises their left arm, they all raise their left arm.  If the Leader skips a step and does a fancy spin, they all do the same. If you don’t do exactly as the Leader does, then you fall out of the game.  At the end of the game, the one person left that has proven he can do everything the leader can do then becomes the new leader.  It’s much like the game of life. Am I the only one that feels Facebook is all about trendy cliques? Facebook is highly overrated in my opinion. Here’s why:

1. Fake friends suck. Facebook seems to be full of self worshiping falsely-enlightened MLM network marketers trying to push their product. These people will not take the time to comment or talk to someone unless that someone belongs to their network marketing team and that person is lathering them up with so much butter that they could squeeze through the eye of a needle (edited for tender eyes). THEN they will be so kind as to comment back and give that commenter another piece of advice that is taken directly from a Tony Robbins book so they can sound more powerful. [Read more →]

Yes, I admit it. I am an admitted doer-of-14-things-at-once addict. I text, put make up on, and drive at the same time. I read email, schedule conference calls and check Twitter while Googling potential keynote speakers and training subjects in one swoop. I help one kid with homework while scolding another for forgetting his at school, chat with my daughter on the phone, and run the puppy out of the kitchen all while preparing dinner. Is this normal?
