SplitTweet – This is a cool & FREE little app if you have more than one Twitter account.  As a multiple account manager or brand manager you can use SplitTweet to monitor all your accounts, read and reply in one easy app.  There is a desktop app for Mac, Linux and Windows. Great Twitter client for heavy or corporate users.

Managing Your Tweeples:

Tweepler – To follow or not to follow!  Tweepler allows you to group your followers into two “buckets” of those you want to follow and those you want to ignore.  It may not sound very nice to ignore your tweepler 300x209 Free Twitter Tools And Apps For The Weekfollowers, but we all know there are some followers out there that can clog your feed with a bunch of self-promoting crap or senseless babble about their cat.  Tweepler lets you archive followers out of the way and view detailed stats on each one so you don’t have to read all those bios individually.  If you are running for the first time and you have quite a few followers to sort through it might take a bit, but used regularly you’ll save yourself some time.

This free little app might be a fun and useful addition to these web apps: http://www.printyourtwitter.com. You can use it to print or save your own or tweets of people you’re following.
    Why?
    • Snailmail tweets to your grandparents to give them an update of your life.
    • Use the funny anecdotes you twittered about your kids on their wedding day (in 15 years).
    • Make your tweets and twitpics into a travel journal of your trip around the world.
