@Jennifer: Thanks for coming by & the good wishes!! I love the name of your blog, by the way. You're right, social media is a maze and I know it is a great resource. What I'm coming to terms with, for myself, is that I need to focus on one social media tool at a time. Twitter is my favorite because it's simple, it's fast, and it's the top trend. But I am sure I am still not using it to it's full potential. Trust me, if I do win the ticket to the Social Media Success Summit I will be sharing everything I learn with all my readers! Hope one of them will be YOU!! :)

@Dennis: It's funny you should ask that...I just had a conversation with someone else about marketing my blog and realized that I have really only been using social media and blog comments as my marketing. With social media I do try to focus more of my attention on finding female followers, but I notice that when I leave comments on blogs I'd say more of my time has been spent on blogs written or run by men. It is a little more difficult finding blogs run by women that focus on marketing, which may explain why I'm in this position. But, I am slowly gathering great sites run by women entrepreneurs too.

I never want to discourage men from commenting or reading my blog...Lord knows I love you guys!! And I learn so much from your blogs that I wouldn't stop reading or commenting because it's not run by a woman. I guess my goal is to bridge the gap and create that level playing field for women to see that we are not playing in a man's world, but we are able to make whatever we will of ourselves in our businesses and learn from each other.

Thanks for sharing your social media challenges! Believe me, you are not alone- I think we are all trying to find our way through the maze called "social media" to be a resource for our niche.

Best of luck with the contest!

Jennifer Brown’s last blog post..Lunch & Marketing… What’s the Correlation?
